\nThe vehicle\u2019s steering wheel randomly vibrates when going around 50-60mph.<\/p>\n

Diagnostic Steps Performed\/Parts Replaced<\/strong>
\nDid a road test to attempt to replicate the issue but was unsuccessful, however, the shaking is clear in the video taken by the vehicle owner experiencing the steering wheel vibration. Re-balanced the tires but because it\u2019s intermittent, this is not the cause. Checked for bad rotors, and seized calipers, but did not find anything. Performed another road test and after driving for a few miles, noticed the front left wheel become really hot.<\/p>\n

Cause<\/strong>
\nA front brake caliper was seized and was causing the other side to take over a lot of the breaking to stop the vehicle. When the caliper becomes stuck, it is unable to properly squeeze the brake pads against the rotors, which may cause you to feel some vibrations when you hit the brakes.<\/p>\n

Correction<\/strong>
\nReplaced the front caliper. Performed final road test and ensured the vehicle was in proper driving condition.<\/p>\n
