It was ideal because comments could be stored here without any concerns that they were ever going to print anywhere.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57352\" src=\"https:\/\/mitchell1.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Figure-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"438\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong>Figure 1<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By default, the <strong>Remarks<\/strong> box is closed and only displays the very first line <strong>(Figure 1)<\/strong>. So if your screen was ever left unattended and made visible to a customer, that\u2019s all they would ever see. For example, you might type \u2019<strong>*****<\/strong>\u2019 or \u2018<strong>Preferred<\/strong>\u2019 (an internal code for shop employees) on the first line and then press Enter to drop down and then type the nitty gritty internal details such as: <strong>a)<\/strong> Don\u2019t take personal checks, <strong>b)<\/strong> Check account balance before work, <strong>c)<\/strong> Get a deposit before work or some sort of similar requirement from the customer (Figure 2).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57355\" src=\"https:\/\/mitchell1.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Fig-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"454\" height=\"263\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong>Figure 2<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This works just fine as long as service advisors <u>remember<\/u> to stop at the <strong>Customer<\/strong> screen before they go to the Order screen. But now there\u2019s a better way to accomplish this same task with the new <strong>Set Flag<\/strong> feature (Figure 3), now added to your Customer screen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57358\" src=\"https:\/\/mitchell1.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Fig-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"229\" height=\"257\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Figure 3<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a box where users can type similar messages and they will most definitely see it as a <u>pop-up box<\/u> (Figure 4) whenever they start an estimate or repair order for that customer. All you need to do is simply remove the text and click OK. Note that the <strong>Edit Flag<\/strong> button will revert back to <strong>Set Flag<\/strong> making it available for future use.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re pleased to include yet another customer-requested feature in Manager SE.
