Nickles, a skilled technician from East Moline, Illinois, will receive full access to Mitchell 1\u2019s comprehensive online resource for maintaining and repairing Class 4-8 trucks as a reward for his impressive achievement.<\/p>\n<p>The TMCSuperTech competition, held Sept. 15-16 at the Raleigh Convention Center in North Carolina, was part of the American Trucking Associations&#8217; TMC 2024 Fall Meeting &amp; National Technician Skills Competition. Nickles beat a pool of more than 90 technicians, repeating his win from last year. He\u2019s been competing since 2013, placing third in 2022 and second in 2017 and 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe TMC SuperTech competition highlights the critical role technicians play in keeping the industry running smoothly and advancing its technology,\u201d said Kristy Coffman, Director of Mitchell 1\u2019s Commercial Vehicle Group. \u201cThe dedication and skill of this year\u2019s competitors were inspiring, and Mitchell 1 is proud to support events like these that celebrate and honor the hard work of trucking professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations also goes out to Jonathan Cecil of Transwest Truck for winning first place at Mitchell 1\u2019s Service Information Station competition, and also taking second overall in the competition.<\/p>\n<p>As one of the original sponsors of the TMCSuperTech competition, Mitchell 1 has been running the Service Information Skills Stations at these events, using its TruckSeries software to test technicians&#8217; abilities to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently.
